Leadership Philosophy

My leadership philosophy is based on they theory of Servant leadership and it also includes being a good example by modeling the behaviors I expect of my subordinates and striking a balance that empowers my employees to find their own solutions and develop critical thinking, while recognizing that mistakes will happen.

Mission

We are here to challenge the status quo! Tennis is often considered difficult, expensive, and elitist. No more! We are here to make tennis more accessible and easier for the common person. This is our MISSION and should be reflected in everything we do.

Vision

To be a leading racquet sports facility in the Rio Grande Valley, cultivating a vibrant and inclusive community that promotes active and healthy living through accessible and high-quality tennis programs for all ages, skill levels, and sports backgrounds.

Core Values

meet the staff

TENNIS IS A YES

Every player coming to the facility should find a program. If it is not an option available, it is time to create one. Be creative! “No” or “we don’t have anything” are not valid responses.

PROGRAMS GO FIRST

Lessons are great for learning certain things, but they are not forever. The priority is to inspire people to join programs and establish social connections through tennis.

ALL PLAYERS MATTER

No good players or bad players. Every client deserves the same respect and attention, regardless of their level, background, age, or stage in the sport.

TENNIS IS ALWAYS GOOD

Every tennis business or coach deserves respect. We never criticize competitors or claim we are better. We recognize the labor of every organization in the industry.

WE ALL DOUBLE-FAULT ONCE IN A WHILE

As in tennis, mistakes happen. Between points, we have 25 seconds to reflect on what we did wrong, make a correction, move on, and go to the next point! The same thing happens out of the court.
